Racing Diehards,

            Our hero, Marion’s Man, will be running this Friday, October 7^th at Hawthorne Race Course in Cicero, Illinois.   Entered in the 9^th race, MM will be competing in a $25,000 claiming race at a mile and 1/16 on the main dirt course.   A jockey change has been made for this race with Chris Emigh getting the nod aboard MM.  He has ridden him before with success.   Together they breezed 5 furlongs last Friday in a tune-up for this upcoming race.  The race should go off around 4:50 PM

 

He has been training diligently since his inauspicious debut, and promises to make amends in this race for his prior performance.   Picture below shows our hero during one of his post workout baths - trying to lap up a drink with his tongue.  Looks a little like Kathy at Last Call.
