Subject: Red Rabbit Racing Update -
All,
Barring a last minute scratch, Red Rabbit Racing’s star (and only)
thoroughbred - Marion’s Man - will compete in his inaugural race
for his new ownership team this Sunday, September 11 at Arlington Park.
He is entered in the sixth race – a $35,000 claiming race for 3 year
olds & up at a distance of a mile on the dirt. The competition is
stiff as there are 11 horses in the race and MM has drawn the 9 hole
coming out of the gate. Morning line odds have MM at 12-1 with at least 6
of his competitors at shorter odds.
In preparation for the race,
MM breezed 4 furlongs on 4-Sep under the tight control of jockey Brice Blanc,
who will be riding him this Sunday wearing the Red, White and Blue silks of the
Red Rabbit Racing team. Picture below is of Brice and MM gliding
under the finish line to end their last workout. (Please note that MM is
actually flying as no hooves are on the ground! What a Mule!
Woombah!)

Hope to see you at the races
on Sunday! The race will go off at approximately 3:15PM Hope
to see you there but f you can’t make it – visit the website

About this adventure…..
Red Rabbit Racing is a thoroughbred
horseracing partnership created in 2004. The initial

fun as a family and take forever before the damn money runs
out.
The name Red Rabbit comes from the
nickname of the late Russell Johnson, pictured left, who was father to Peggy
& Richard and grandfather to Jean, Jeff & Rick. Horses from our
ownership team are trained by the famed
