Subject: Red Rabbit Racing Update
All,
Red Rabbit Racing’s star (and only) horse Marion’s Man had his first timed
workout today under his new ownership team. He breezed 4 furlongs
in 49 seconds under tight control by his exercise boy. Never fully
stretched, MM, was cool as can be as he did the half mile. Picture
below is of him coming past the finish line at the end of his breeze.
Marion’s
first race for us will probably be either Sept 11, or Sept 18th,
depending on how these races fill with entries. We had him nominated for
a 40k Handicap to be run this Sunday but the race was cancelled as it
didn’t fill with enough entries. Rumor has it that tables in Arlington Park’s
Million Room are being reserved to watch Marion’s
first efforts coming up this September.
In an interesting twist, Marion Man has his own e-mail address and can be
reached by replying to this message. I will make sure he gets any
messages of encouragement as we near his first race day.
