The Golf season officially opened with Kemper Lakes Golf Club Opening Event - The Member Scramble. I was paired with the great Hockey Hall Of fame Chicago Blackhawk centre

That's right - it was fellow members Jeff, Bill, Stan and myself as we put up a respectable, though not winning, 6 under 66. As a team we played pretty well without a bogey all day. We lipped out more than a couple Birdie putts and with any luck would have sat atop the leader board.

and myself as I tried to get Bryan to disqualify the 3 teams in front of us so we could claim the trophy. He refused to do so.

I had a great time talking with Stan about all the memories of the Blackhawk glory years. This guy is a hockey legend - but also just a great guy.
