On Saturday July 1st, it was that time again for the

annual Johnson family picnic

held every July 4th weekend at the estate of Bob & Peggy (Johnson) Lenz in downstate El Paso.

A tremendous time was had by all, though I kind of fell asleep on taking the snaps of the day - so I missed getting one of the whole clan.

However, I did snap off a couple featured here - the first of which is of family patriarch Robert Arthur Johnson downing a beer with son-in-law Aidan on the front yard of Riverwoods Farm.  As you will note Bob's socks are  celebrating our Nations independence.

In terms of attendees, Kathy, the boys and 2 girlfriends came down.  Sister Laurie, Jean & Nancy's family made it as well.  The Roy Johnson Family, Alan & Jodi Upchurch Family, Brad & Rachel's family and Jason & Emily were there while awaiting the birth of their first born. 

The Jeff Johnson Family, Aidan & Deb's family with the Davis and Everett contingent from the Hoosier state, all had a rousing good time under the gracious hosting of Peggy and that County Lawyer Bob Lenz.

Picture right is of Rachel with her youngest firebrand Brett.

Picture Below, left is me with sister Jean and Cousing Jeff who appears to be biting a grenade.  Nothing strange with that.   Beneath that snap are all the pictures on the day
