Brad's Bills Win The Super Bowl!

Setting the table, our Brad, along with his BGHS buddies Sammy Alfano & Austin Simon, volunteered to coach the Buffalo Grove Bills Bantam football team, comprised of kids typically in the 3rd grade.

They were joined by veteran coach Jason and together the 4 of them worked tirelessly with these youngsters. This is tackle football, played over a 9 game season- with the Playoffs your goal. And unbelievably, they made the playoffs and then won the Super Bowl, rolling up a commanding 11-1 record. Picture left features Brad, Sammy, Jason & Austin with the Trophy.

It was unbelievable seeing how good thee kids played. Brad was responsible for the offense while Sammy concentrated on the Defense. Austin, had both the Offensive & Defensive line as his responsibility with Jason, an experienced coach, helped the lads across all facets of the game.

Final Score was 32-19 with Brad's offense scoring touchdowns on 5 of their 6 possessions!

The 1st one is of the last play of the Super Bowl, with the players, coaches & parents going Nuts with the victory. The second is the Presentation of the Massive Super Bowl Trophy. I know I am not objective, but I am so proud of Brad, Sammy, Austin & Jason. None of them had a kid that was on the team and they devoted 5 days a week since late August to mold these kids from Football novices to Super Bowl Champions. And they did it out of the Goodness of there hearts. None of them got paid a dime.....

Well Done All.....
