It's hard to believe, but that Rascal Calvin Is now

3 years Old!

So 'twas time for a party!  So on Masters Saturday it was off to Ben & Jordan's in Carol Stream to celebrate this huge milestone.

Both sides of the family came together with Jordans Mom & Dad along with sister Olivia, Brother Zach and their families.  

On the Johnson side, Kathy & I and our 4 boys and their families reported for duty.  It was a full house with the grandkids whooping it up all afternoon long.

Everyone queued to get their slot to hold precious Addison, who as always, acted like the Sugarplum she is.   Bryan bragged he has the trick to calm her when she fidgets by singing some song he used to sing to his own boys - which was torture to all in earshot.

Anyone who has been with Cal knows the Sun rises and sets on "SPIDERMAN"!  So Grandma obliged with a Hamper full of Spiderman doodads as only she can overdo.  

Jordan laid on a spread with help from the local Pizzeria with all the salad trimming - making it a scrumptious early dinner.   After dinner the gift opening took well over 45 minutes what with the barrage of prezzies from all of Cal's family.  He gave everyone a proper "Thank You" and hug as he is just the bestest boy.   

Following the Gift Barrage, Jordan produced the Birthday Cake and all gathered round to watch him blow out his candle - which he did with authority.

It was great to chat with the Jones side of the family - they are really the best Folk and Ben is lucky to have Jordan and their family. 

Following the cake, the party wound down as just watching the Grandkids all afternoon is enough to tire most everyone out.
