On a frigid December Sunday the family went to St Peter's Lutheran Church in Schaumburg, IL to see
Calvin's Pre-School Christmas Recital!
Calvin Takashi, our 3 year old Grandson is a Joy to anyone who beholds him! Full of life and rascally fun, this boy is such a Blessing.
He did such an excellent job at the Recital and we were so proud of him. At the recital, he and his classmates sung a few songs that sounded like Angels in Heaven!
Sadly, his sister Addison was running a fever - so Jordan stayed home to tend to her. But Ben had Calvin to the Church early and they greeted Uncle Brett, both of his Grandma's & Grandpa's, along with Godfather Bryan, Aunt Sabrina, Cousins Thor & Ashton, Godmother Olivia, Uncle Zach & Aunty Alyssa, Uncle Brad & Aunty Christina. A full crowd to see this cherub sing.
The Church that runs the Preschool is beautiful and was all decorated in it's Christmas Finery. The worship service was lovely and following the Prayers, the children were ushered into the sanctuary where they sang the songs that they worked so hard to learn.
I can't tell you how uplifting it is to see young Children raised in the name of Christ. In a world that is right now is so torn and divisive, seeing these young Children Praise God gives you hope for the Future.
