On a  mild November 28, I was overjoyed to be included in the annual

Christmas Tree Felling

by my Grandsons, Thor & Ashton, with their parents Sabrina and our eldest, Sponge Bry Square Head!

This ritual has become a family tradition of theirs - now at least 4 years running.  They cut down their own Tree at a Dairy Farm just over the Wisconsin border In Twin Lakes, WI

The name of the Farm is Country Christmas Trees and I couldn't recommend them more highly.  A family Farm, we have gotten to know the owner and he is the most personable man you'd want to meet.   Click here for their FaceBook Page

Well, when we get to the Farm, the boys head into the Christmas Tree forest looking for that perfect tree.   But alas, this year it is Sabrina who immediately finds THE ONE!

No One can dispute this pick, so Bryan the Lumberjack Bear, brandishes a bow saw and gets to work on this beauty.  Thor gives him a hand, but Bryan is responsible for this felling.  And after the tree is brought down, we all notice that a rather large, beautiful section of this gorgeous tree is

STILL ROOTED IN THE GROUND!

Bryan, what the Hell?

So, while Bryan is loading his partial tree into the car, Sabrina, Thor and I check out the Dairy Herd in the barn.  About 200 head in there, each one with their own name.    Ashton passes on the Cow Tour as it is WAY too fragrant in the Barn for him.  But Thor and I love the Bovines, so we stop and chat with a couple of them on our inspection tour.

On our leave from the farm, we decide to take in Lakes Pancake House for Lunch - and it was excellent as usual.

A Really Nice Morning and Tradition!

Bryan & Sabrina, Thanks for Including Me!

Praise God for these Grandsons!
