After a tremendous showing last year in his Kindergarten School recital, it was with Great Anticipation that we attended

Ashton's 1st Grade School Recital!

On a beautiful March 5, Bryan, Sabrina, Thor and I all eagerly went to Hill Crest Elementary in Antioch to see our 7 year old Cherub Ashton sing with the entire 1st Grade classes in this years school recital.

One of the 2025 highlights was when the whole family trooped up to Antioch to see Ashton's Kindergarten recital where he blew the roof off the assembly with his rendition of "Here Comes The Sun"!  

To Ashton's extreme dismay, Grandpa has been singing that song (Including Hand Gestures) back to him for the entire year.

Bad News Flash Ash... Grandpa Will Continue To Sing That Forever!

As expected, Ashton and crew performed flawlessly - my favourite number was the "Chicken Bawk", done so well it will probably be available on Spotify later this month. 

All the other numbers were just as great and we were all so proud of our Ashton.

Following the concert, Ashton indulged in his favourite Post Performance meal - McDonald's French Fries and a Frozen Coke.   

Thor and I hit the Gas Station (Dairy Queen) for some tasty treats we wolfed down and brought other treats back to the family. 

So proud of ashton!  

 

What a Night!
