On April 11, we were overjoyed to attend the party for our Grandson
Calvin - Who is now 4 Years Old!
Hard to believe this little pistol is a young man of 4. It was off to Ben & Jordan's house to come together with the Jones family to celebrate this firecracker's big day. Everyone from our family were there except Brett who was down with a Cold.
Calvin was already jumping up and down before we even walked in the door! The present table was already laden with gifts - til Kathy's offerings doubled it in size.
Cal wanted to quickly dive into the pile - but alas we all needed to catch up with each other beforehand. 'Twas torture for Cal!
Addie Girl was walking everywhere with her cousin William in tow. The Pizza's were already delivered so we viciously attacked the Buffet line complete with salads and other goodies. Our Addie likes Cheese Pizza!
Finally, it came time to open all the Presents. Picture upper right are 2 of Calvin's favourites - probably his 100th Superman action figure and some Dragon like creature from Uncle Brett. Grandma & Grandpa on the Jones side got Cal and the family Cubs tickets - as Cal is mad about them with his favourite player being Pete Crow-Armstrong. He also got a Balance Beam and Balance Stepping Stones which he loved. Quite a Haul!
After Cal had changed into his ultra stylish Hot Dog Pajamas - Sabrina, Cal and Addie tried out the Balance Beam, with Uncle Brad making sure Addie Girl stayed upright.
After the Present Explosion it was time for the Chocolate Birthday Cake and the song.
Make sure you checkout the video as Cal snuffed the candle in record time so he could hit that Cake!
All that was left were the hugs and kisses as we prepared to go.
But what a great time was had by all!
