Easter Sunday dawned this Apr 5 and as Kathy & I sat in our pews at Trinity Lutheran Church we looked around and our entire family had joined us.  I leaned over to Kathy and whispered....

We are so blessed!

That we are, as we raised our voices to Praise God!  Our grandkids, Thor, Ashton, Calvin & Addie Girl all were waving their Celebration Ribbons as we processed into Church.  

11 Year old Thor flawlessly read The First Reading from the Book of Acts to the Congregation. Calvin & Addie Girl accompanied me to the Lectern during the Sending, dancing and waving their ribbons. Fantastic! 

Following church it was off to another Easter Tradition: The Kemper Lakes Easter Brunch.   We were joined by the Batz Crew of Gary, Jaaaan, Corey & Belle.   Sisters Laurie, with Ally & Jeff, and Nancy with radiant Jaclyn and Tommy in tow!

Brunch was excellent as usual, with Thor going back a couple times for the Prime Rib.  I put away 2 Omelets and as my Dad used to say "If you went away Hungry - it was your own fault!"

Ashton & Calvin went outside for the Easter Egg hunt and came back with quite a haul.   

Ben And Addie Girl found the Easter Bunny and took a few cute snaps.  It was great catching up with Jaan, Gary and Corey & Belle.  Corey shared some big news that he is buying a townhome.   Congrats!   

After the Food Marathon, we went home and just relaxed.  It felt great!

Alleluia! Christ Is Risen!  

He is Risen Indeed!
